Assistant General Manager
About The Position
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a hands-on leader responsible for supporting daily store operations, developing the team, and driving results. The role oversees business performance and profitability and supports hiring, training, and the growth of Customer Service Associates. The AGM works to ensure customer satisfaction and a smooth, friendly Wawa experience while maintaining safety, quality, and operational standards. The hourly range is $24.50–$33.00, commensurate with position, experience, and location. Associates in this position are eligible for monthly bonus incentives. Wawa offers benefits subject to the terms of the applicable plans. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
- Strong background in store operations, including staffing, training, performance management, sales building, scheduling, and expense control.
- Ability to implement change and drive results through effective execution.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.

- Proven leadership experience, ideally in food service or retail environments.
Responsibilities
- Gather customer feedback and resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and a smooth, friendly Wawa experience.
- Deliver quality, engaging training so Customer Service Associates can meet Wawa safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, recognition, and motivation of team members.
- Coordinate schedules and daily tasks to support efficient operations.
- Monitor store performance by reviewing reports, managing shrink, and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Monitor trends and collaborate proactively with peers to develop action plans that drive optimal results.
