About The Position

The Assistant General Manager helps lead restaurant operations at Shake Shack, developing team members and supporting excellent hospitality and operational standards. The role oversees inventory, quality, safety, payroll, scheduling, and budget management while working to achieve sales, profitability, and other financial goals. It also supports implementation of company policies and strategies, compliance with local and state health and safety codes, and promotion of the brand in the local community.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of Restaurant General Management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security.
Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of Shack operations.
Demonstrated ability to champion hospitality and motivate team members.
Strong leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and achieving excellence.
Knowledge of all financial aspects of business operations.
Minimum 3 years of P&L responsibilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
