Directly supervises the Front Desk, F&B, Housekeeping and Engineering staff and department operations (e.g. hiring, terminating, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations). Schedules subordinates, maintaining adequate staffing levels while adhering to labor standards guidelines. Assists the Accounting Clerk in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable work processes. Assures maximum guest service through training, including but not limited to: hotel property management system, inventory management, hotel amenities, the local area, shopping, dining, entertaining and execution of current groups, sites and hotel VIPs Maintains accurate records including direct bill accounts, credit card transactions, direct bill accountings, and wholesale reservation maintenance and billing. Adheres to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures; aligned with Marriott Hospitality and Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group. Maintains and implements established Emergency Procedures, assuring the security of guests and monies. Assists General Manager in annual wage scale surveys; ensures employee wages follow wage and salary guidelines as well as payroll processing procedures and P&L Statements and Ownership Critique.
