The Le Meridien Indianapolis Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated individual for the position of Assistant General Manager. This candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational & communication skills, a strong proficiency in multi-tasking with experience in Food and Beverage being essential. This role is directly responsible for entire hotel operations including overall guest satisfaction, breakfast, front desk, housekeeping and engineering. The Assistant General Manager will also be responsible for meeting or exceeding budgeted payroll standards in these departments and establishing and maintaining cost control systems for monthly ordering in relation to the checkbook. Additionally, they will review the reservation function to maintain the highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate through suggestive selling by associates, and maintain and correct procedures for credit control, financial transactions, security of financial assets, and guest security. The role requires the ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures, and attend required meetings.
