The Le Meridien Indianapolis Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated individual for the position of Assistant General Manager. This candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational & communication skills, a strong proficiency in multi-tasking with experience in Food and Beverage being essential. The role is responsible for maintaining standards of quality guest service, assisting the General Manager in developing financial and operational plans, facilitating department meetings, and participating in the annual hotel budget. The position aims to increase guest satisfaction by delivering an exceptional product through employee development and is directly responsible for entire hotel operations including guest satisfaction, breakfast, front desk, housekeeping, and engineering. The Assistant General Manager is also responsible for meeting or exceeding budgeted payroll standards, establishing cost control systems, reviewing reservation functions to maximize occupancy and average daily rate, and maintaining procedures for credit control, financial transactions, and security. They must also respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions courteously and timely, and scrupulously follow all company and hotel policies and procedures, while attending required meetings.
