About The Position

The Assistant General Manager partners with the Managing Partner to lead the SONIC Drive-In team, strengthen restaurant performance, and deliver a fast, friendly guest experience. The role helps oversee daily operations and uphold SONIC standards and policies while supporting training, scheduling, team performance, inventory, food safety, guest concerns, cash handling, and expense control. The Assistant General Manager also works with the Managing Partner on growth initiatives and protecting the SONIC brand. This role offers leadership development toward future Managing Partner and above-store opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.
• Ability to work in an active restaurant environment, including standing, walking, lifting, moving through compact spaces, and safely using restaurant equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Quick-service restaurant experience is preferred.
