About The Position

The Assistant General Manager helps lead restaurant operations at Shake Shack, focusing on developing team members, maintaining high standards of hospitality and operational excellence, and meeting financial goals. The role includes managing inventory, quality, safety, payroll, and scheduling; supporting compliance with health and safety codes; and promoting the brand in the local community. Candidates should have substantial restaurant general management and P&L experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Restaurant General Management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security.
• Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of Shack operations.
• Demonstrated ability to champion hospitality and motivate team members.
• Strong leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and achieving excellence.
• Knowledge of all financial aspects of business operations.
• At least 3 years of P&L responsibilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
