About The Position

This leader drives daily floor operations performance across safety, quality, productivity, and cost while developing teams, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Operational Execution- Communicate effectively with associates, suppliers, and customers through verbal and written channels. Develop and execute the business plan for the assigned area to achieve facility goals related to production, quality, safety, and service. Identify and implement operational improvements to support performance and efficiency. Staffing & Performance Management- Forecast staffing, workload, and performance needs to meet business demand. Monitor results and adjust plans to ensure consistent execution and service levels. Financial Management- Manage assigned financial responsibilities, including tracking expenses against budget. Monitor asset utilization and review business and performance reports to identify trends and opportunities. Safety, Quality & Compliance- Ensure compliance with Logistics and company safety, quality, and operational standards. Develop, maintain, and support SOPs and required documentation. Investigate and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using sound judgment and collaboration. People Leadership- Lead, coach, and develop associates and leaders within the assigned area. Set expectations, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback. Identify training and development needs and support learning and growth opportunities. Participate in hiring, promotion, performance evaluation, and succession planning. Continuous Improvement- Support continuous improvement efforts aligned with the Walmart Performance System (WPS). Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to address performance gaps. Community & Stakeholder Engagement- Serve as a community liaison by supporting local organizations and company‑sponsored initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management); and 2 years experience in a senior management role within an operations/distribution/logistics environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide OR 2 years experience as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager including supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates OR 4 years experience in a senior management role in an operations/distribution/logistics /retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide
