About The Position

Wendy's is looking for an energetic, hands-on Assistant General Manager to help lead one of our Queens restaurants. In this role, you'll partner with the General Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences, develop a high-performing team, drive sales, and ensure operational excellence every day. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy coaching others, and are passionate about building successful teams, we'd love to meet you. This position requires you to have a valid drivers license and vehicle.

Requirements

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume quick service or fast casual environment
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing labor, food cost, and restaurant financial performance
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

• Previous General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supporting the General Manager in all day-to-day restaurant operations
• Leading shifts while ensuring outstanding guest service, food quality, and cleanliness
• Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and developing team members
• Coaching and mentoring Shift Managers and Crew Members to achieve performance goals
• Driving sales, labor, food cost, and profitability through strong operational execution
• Managing schedules to support business needs while controlling labor costs
• Maintaining inventory, ordering, and food safety standards
• Ensuring compliance with Wendy's operating procedures, health regulations, and company policies
• Handling guest concerns professionally and creating positive guest experiences
• Building a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture
• Stepping in to lead the restaurant whenever the General Manager is away
