We are currently looking for an Assistant General Manager for our Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton-Buffalo Downtown. This hotel is one of 50 properties owned and managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates, an award-winning hotel management company founded in 1996. Requirements

Two years related management experience.
Hotel brand knowledge.
Extensive experience with rooms, housekeeping, and food and beverage.
Working knowledge of hotel operations, including security and safety programs, personnel (HR) relations, quality assurance programs, and long-range planning.
Bachelor’s degree in hotel management, business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Expertise in standard hotel management systems.
Hands-on leadership.
Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Assisting General Managers in providing leadership, guidance, and support to hotel teams, fostering the Buffalo Lodging Associates culture and values.
Managing hotel operations in the absence of management, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, food and beverage, and human resources.
Managing front office operations and supervising front desk and food and beverage staff.
Resolving guest concerns while maintaining high franchise Guest Service scores.
Fostering a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.
Supervising employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, rewarding, coaching, planning, assigning work, addressing complaints, and resolving concerns.
Performing administrative tasks such as reporting, inventories, and accounting processes.
