About The Position

KBP Foods is hiring an Assistant General Manager to help lead a KFC restaurant’s team, operations, and guest experience. The role offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills, influence restaurant performance, and prepare for potential General Manager and above-store opportunities.

The Assistant General Manager leads and develops the restaurant team, supports daily operations, maintains brand and safety standards, and helps manage costs and profitability. The position requires availability to close the restaurant at least two nights per week and the ability to work in an active restaurant environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.
• Ability to work in an active restaurant environment, including standing, walking, lifting, moving through compact spaces, and safely using restaurant equipment.

• Quick-service restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach the team to build a positive, high-performing restaurant.
• Deliver a great guest experience and resolve issues quickly.
• Help oversee daily operations, including inventory, cash handling, and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain brand standards for food quality, preparation, safety, and cleanliness.
• Manage labor and food costs with a focus on restaurant performance and profitability.
