About The Position
Midas Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Assistant General Manager to join their team at the Courtyard by Marriott Oakland Airport. The ideal candidate will have prior hotel management experience and a passion for delivering superior customer service. This role involves overseeing front desk, housekeeping, and engineering operations, as well as human resources functions such as hiring, training, coaching, and counseling employees. The Assistant General Manager will also be responsible for resolving customer complaints, anticipating operational issues, preparing forecasts and reports, and assisting with budget development and monitoring to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
Requirements
- Previous hotel management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work nights and weekends
Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk, housekeeping, and engineering operations.
- Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, coaching, and counseling of employees.
- Resolve customer complaints and anticipate potential problems.
