About The Position

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant General Manager with Sales responsibility for the dual-branded TownePlace Suites and Fairfield Inn in Forrest City, Arkansas. Salary Rage: $55,000-$60,000 Annually This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who excels in operations while driving revenue performance and building strong client relationships. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports overall hotel operations while taking an active leadership role in sales strategy and revenue generation. This position ensures exceptional guest service, operational excellence, and financial performance across both properties. This is not an all-encompassing job description.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of hotel supervisory or Assistant General Manager experience
  • Brand experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, or Wyndham preferred
  • Demonstrated success in guest satisfaction and service delivery
  • Strong understanding of hotel financials, budgeting, and labor management
  • Experience supporting or collaborating with sales efforts and revenue strategies
  • Proven ability to lead teams, improve operations, and drive results
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate daily activities across front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest services, maintenance, and security
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and company expectations
  • Foster a positive, service-driven culture focused on guest satisfaction
  • Oversee safety programs, including training, reporting, and compliance initiatives
  • Support and execute sales strategies to maximize ADR and occupancy, which includes sales calls, prospecting, and sales generation.
  • Partner with Sales to drive business development, client engagement, and account growth
  • Coordinate communication between Sales, Operations, and clients to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Identify revenue opportunities and contribute to market positioning strategies
  • Interpret financial statements and support budget management, including labor controls
  • Monitor departmental expenses and implement cost-control initiatives
  • Assist in forecasting, staffing models, and performance analysis
  • Motivate, coach, and develop department leaders and team members
  • Support training initiatives and performance management processes
  • Promote accountability, engagement, and professional growth across the team
