About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring team members are properly trained and communicated with regarding all front-end functions, including guest checks, over-rings, refunds, WIC, Absolute Card, security issues, register fund counts, guest services, price changes, product locations, and produce codes. The role involves staying aware of sales programs, communicating this information to the front-end team, and immediately notifying appropriate personnel of any pricing errors or items not found in the system. Additionally, the Assistant Front-End Manager establishes and monitors team member work schedules to ensure maximum guest service, productivity, and efficiency, observing the front-end for proper coverage during high-volume times and arranging for additional help as needed. This role also ensures the availability, control, and proper use of front-end supplies within established budgets and guidelines, and supports the Front End Manager in assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 21 Years
  • Regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach
  • Perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination
  • Hear and respond to customer inquiries
  • Standing, walking and bending throughout the entire workday
  • Ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds from location to location

Responsibilities

  • Ensures team members are continually communicated with and properly trained regarding all related functions of their job responsibilities as: Proper handling of guest checks, over-rings, refunds, WIC, Absolute Card, security issues, counting of register funds, guest services, price changes, location of store products, produce codes, etc.
  • Is aware of Ad items, special prices, coupon deals or other features that apply to the store’s sales program. Always communicates the information to the front-end.
  • Immediately notifies proper personnel of any pricing errors or items not found in file.
  • Establishes and monitors team member work schedules to ensure maximum guest service, productivity and efficiency. This includes continually observing the front-end for proper coverage during high volume times and ensuring additional help as needed.
  • Ensures the availability, control and proper use of front-end supplies as: bags, register tapes, office forms, cleaning supplies, etc. within established budgets and guidelines.
  • Supports Front End Manager in tasks assigned.
