About The Position
Muscatine Schools is seeking an Assistant Football Coach for the High School Football program. The role involves supporting the mission of Muscatine High School and its Activities/Athletics Department to develop and implement an exemplary Football program. The goal is to provide students with the best possible educational and athletic experience. Coaches must hold a Coaching Authorization from the Iowa Department of Education and complete pre-hire HR processes, including a background check and training.
Requirements
- Hold a Coaching Authorization issued by the Iowa Department of Education.
- Complete an onboarding pre-hire process with the Department of Human Resources.
- Pass a criminal background screening.
- Complete training requirements.

Benefits
- Currently, this position pays $3,552 over three installments during the wrestling season. 2026-2027 sports season pay rates are to be determined.
