About The Position

As a key member of the leadership team, the food and beverage AGM is accountable for the food and beverage outlets and meeting space. The food and beverage AGM is committed to guest satisfaction and providing a great experience for all guests.

Requirements

  • An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6 years’ minimum experience in a beverage/food outlet
  • Experience working at a lifestyle or full service hotel
  • Experience in a supervisor or managerial position
  • The ability to implement the established menu and service standards
  • The ability and drive to personify our culture in every interaction with guests and associates
  • The ability to manage, train and develop 20 plus associates
  • The ability to deliver on the quality of service that guests deserve and expect

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the serving areas to ensure that associates are meeting food and beverage quality, brand, and service standards.
  • Control the elements that determine profit and loss of the Food and Beverage operations.
  • Work with the hotels’ sales team to ensure that all meeting spaces are properly supplied and maintained.
  • Work with the Corporate Food and Beverage team on Liquor, beer and wine product pricing, menus, and selection.
  • Consult with the Food & Beverage Manager(s) and other applicable hotel manager(s) daily to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction is being met.
  • Collaborate with the team and help develop external and internal marketing and sales promotion activities for the Food and Beverage department (i.e. wine dinners, cocktail class, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the bar team on cocktail development.
  • Maintain the inventory of the Beverage Department (weekly purchases, budgeting, beverage costs, coding invoices, etc.).
  • Execute LBW inventory control and calculation for monthly analysis and reconciliation.
  • Educate and Train the bar and service team on all things related to LBW.
  • Oversee scheduling for front of the house team members.
