Assistant Fashion Designer
About The Position
The Assistant Designer supports the team in creating products leading in innovation, design, function, fit and quality. You are mentored by the Design Director and a team of experienced designers. You will be the Designer’s right-hand person to support with day-to-day tasks: which includes initiating product development packets, updating tech packs to reflect silo/construction changes throughout the product lifecycle, loading items into CBX, preparing packages for overseas counterparts, managing and maintaining showroom samples and organization, and prepping the showroom for sales meetings.
Requirements
- 0-2 years minimum industry experience is required
- AA, BA, in Design required
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Excel, Word, Mac platform
Nice To Haves
- An understanding in 3D design would be a benefit
