About The Position

What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world’s most famous and well-loved fashion brands? We are looking for a Associate, Designer to join our growing team in Montreal.

Ability to communicate effectively
Knowledge in the apparel industry
2+ Years of experience is required
Diploma in fashion design is required.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Experience in creating technical drawings
Bilingual (French/English); English is necessary for this position since the person will work daily with overseas factories and will need to present sketches and send communications and information to clients outside of Quebec.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of PLM is an asset

Responsibilities

Support the Senior Designer with research
Create detailed technical drawings and color cads using Adobe Illustrator.
Create styles and tech pack in PLM.
Helping with sampling and daily communication with vendors on samples status.
Document all information about the samples (the number of samples received, where the samples are ship, etc.)
Filling and organizing samples.
Working on proto comments, fabric/lab dips approval.
Preparing samples for buyer meetings, presentation.
Sending samples to vendors and the sales teams.
Assisting the team with any related tasks.
