About The Position

GALT Aerospace is seeking a full-time Assistant Facility Security Officer to handle the following responsibilities: Security Compliance: Managing security programs in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM). Government Interaction: Acting as a liaison with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). Classified Material Control: Managing physical and personnel security, including COMSEC responsibilities. Contract Security Management: Interpreting, preparing, and managing DD Form 254 requirements. Threat Assessments: Conducting internal audits, investigations, and threat assessments. Create and maintain security files for employees, consultants, and independent contractors. Provide security briefings, debriefings, security awareness training and annual training for personnel; and maintain records. Process Visit requests, certifications, foreign travel forms, special access, and related documentation. Process security clearance investigations and perform administrative support functions involving the use of e-QIP, NISS, DISS, STEPP/CDSE, and other security related systems. Ensure that security policy and direction is consistent with Government laws and regulations, and company policies. Maintain and manage security requirements for Open Storage areas.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in Industrial Security or personnel security administration supporting a cleared contractor under NISPOM
  • Experience supporting self-inspections or government security audits
  • Working knowledge of DISS, NBIS, eApp, and NISS
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking
  • Possess a high degree of organizational and communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with relevant experience
  • Prior experience in an AFSO, Security Specialist, CPSO, or related security support role
  • Experience supporting Insider Threat Program activities
  • Completion of all Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency FSO training requirements (possessing/non-possessing)
  • Industry certifications
  • Industrial Security Professional
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
