About The Position

GRVTY Inc. is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our security team within a private sector defense classified contracting environment. This role is best suited for a self-starter with demonstrated experience within SAPF and SCIF environments from construction and accreditation to daily operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Security, the FSO will support all aspects of security compliance and operations to ensure adherence to federal regulations to maintain a secure facility.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as an FSO.
  • Demonstrated understanding of DCSA compliance, NISP, SEAD 3/4, and all aspects of national security clearance processes.
  • Facility Security Officer certification
  • Working knowledge of DISS, NBIS, and other security clearance management systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAPF compliance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAPF construction and accreditation.
  • Strong understanding of foreign travel processes and related reporting requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of government security directives, protocols, and practices.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with staff, government representatives, and stakeholders.
  • Must have an active Top-Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all DCSA security requirements, including NISPOM, SEAD 3/4, and related policies and directives.
  • Manage personnel security processes, including initial clearance submissions, investigations, and periodic reinvestigations through DISS and NBIS.
  • Conduct self-inspections and internal audits to ensure continued compliance with security standards and policies.
  • Prepare for and participate in DCSA security audits, reviews, and inspections.
  • Oversee the secure handling, transmission, and storage of classified information in compliance with contract and government requirements.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs tailored to organizational needs.
  • Maintain security records, reports, and documentation in compliance with federal mandates.
  • Support and enhance the Insider Threat Program in conjunction with organizational policies.
  • Act as a liaison with government representatives, internal departments, and external clients on security-related matters.
  • Stay updated on changes to security regulations and implement necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
