About The Position

Assist in the Management and maintain all aspects of 1972. This role involves supporting the Facility Manager with a wide range of duties related to facility management, including preventative maintenance, inspections, compliance, central services, space allocation, energy expenditure, vendor relationships, and staff supervision. The position also assists in managing day-to-day activities of assigned locations, ensuring customer interaction, processing financial reports, scheduling, and hiring/training frontline staff.

Requirements

  • Maintain reliable transportation available for use during working hours, valid driver’s license and provide proof of automobile liability coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Facility Manager with all essential duties.
  • Work with the Facility Coordinator to develop a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements.
  • Conducting and documenting regular facility inspections.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.
  • Planning and managing facility central services such as reception, security, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and parking. Ensure delivery schedules, quantity and quality criteria are met.
  • Planning and monitoring appropriate facility management staffing levels.
  • Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures.
  • Inspecting structure of building and determine if repairs are needed.
  • Assist in the management all reservations for 1972.
  • Allocating and managing facility space for maximum efficiency.
  • Supervise direct reporting staff according to overall company policy.
  • Evaluate and adjust energy expenditures.
  • Advise staff on how to reduce utility bills.
  • Organize meeting, classroom, lounge and venue spaces.
  • Create and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Perform facility equipment obsolescent planning, budgeting and replacement.
  • Assist in maintaining staff requirements for all associates, counselors, and DSPs.
  • Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the assigned locations including: ensuring appropriate customer interaction, supervising the completion of all evening closing reports, processing bank deposits, scheduling staff, supervising frontline staff (e.g. Welcome Desk, Floaters, Custodial Staff, etc.), preparing month-end reports, auditing daily cashier shift reports, monitoring and checking of time cards, hiring and training of frontline staff.
  • Perform all other duties deemed necessary by Facility Coordinator.
