About The Position

The Assistant Facility Manager provides essential support in overseeing the operations and maintenance of our facility. This role involves managing vendor contracts, coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and addressing facility-related issues promptly. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning facility while fostering positive tenant relationships and supporting our commitment to sustainability. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your facility management expertise while contributing directly to JLL's operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in facility management, business administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Previous experience in facility management, property management, or related role
  • Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance, and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with tenants, vendors, and colleagues
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and facility management software.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification in facility management or related field
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and green building certifications (LEED, ENERGY STAR)
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
  • Experience with space planning and utilization
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with proactive approach to issue resolution

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and cleaning activities
  • Oversee vendor contracts and service agreements, ensuring quality standards and performance metrics are met
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, codes, and best practices
  • Monitor facility inspections, permits, and certifications while supporting emergency response protocols
  • Contribute to budget development and monitoring, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving initiatives
  • Serve as primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, concerns, and facility-related requests.
