About The Position

3D Systems has an immediate need for an Assistant Facilities Manager to help oversee multi-site facilities responsibilities. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Facilities Manager. The successful candidate must ensure that 3D Systems has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities. The Assistant Facilities Manager is involved in planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises. This position is accountable for managing all aspects of service delivery for a property, facilities services, EHS, project management and construction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of administrative or site support experience in a corporate or operations environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong project coordination or project management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced, multicultural, and geographically dispersed organization.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures customer satisfaction with facility management by providing capable and responsive representation of 3D Systems to the client organizations.
  • Ensures vendors invoices are submitted and processed appropriately.
  • Manages company security systems and access.
  • Works to create formalized equipment maintenance plan including frequencies
  • Provides Facilities Manager status updates on maintenance results and deficiencies
  • Ensures proper tracking and reporting of facilities work orders for preventive and reactive maintenance
  • Supervision of all vendor activities for services employed at the property level including day-to-day supervision of issues as they arise (i.e. cleaning, landscaping, operations, repairs and maintenance, office supply areas, painting, plant services, sprinklers, HVAC, electrical, fire control panels, security card access)
  • Consults and collaborates with vendor partners to ensure all are complying with scope of work and obligations per contracts
  • Ensures performance and safety standards are met for third-party vendors
  • Supports leadership in the implementation of short and long-term operational projects for the site
  • Manages new vendors as needed, preparing scope of work, interfacing with strategic sourcing to procure services to identify and justify sourced selections, monitors performance to meet cost and schedule.
  • Project management, supervision, and coordination of contractors to manage work scope, budget, schedule and adherence to regulatory and code compliance as required by site, local, state, federal jurisdictions
  • Supports EHS Manager in overseeing facilities safety and training programs, first aid and First Responder program, Hazmat, Lock-out/Tag-out, chemical handling safety, MSDS data
