About The Position

To repair and maintain all aspects of the building. These tasks are to be performed in a timely and professional manner to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Must be familiar with basic food service equipment and basic maintenance functions.
  • One-year experience working in building maintenance.
  • Verbal and written communication is essential.
  • Experience in dealing with problems involving equipment issues.
  • Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time.
  • Ability to walk for extended periods to visit multiple unit properties.
  • Valid State Driver’s License required.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
  • Must be able to get badged by the airport authority.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Brand Certification as required (can get brand certified).

Responsibilities

  • Understand that our guest is our #1 priority.
  • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner (where applicable).
  • Maintain any and all tools and equipment needed to do the job. This includes cleaning, organizing, and maintaining all storage closets and work areas.
  • Follows all security guidelines for outside repair company personnel including checking of airport badges or responsibility for escorting non-badged repair personnel on premises.
  • Responsible for progress of outside repair personnel.
  • Must help maintain vendor relations, including PM contracts, and follow all procedures regarding maintenance schedules. Also includes checking integrity of vendor pricing for all parts, labor, etc. listed on estimates and/or invoices.
  • Responsible for assisting with the delivery of all invoices to be paid directly to GM as work is completed.
  • Assist in receiving and providing project repair estimates as required by General Manager of the property. GM or Regional must approve all work before starting repairs.
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
  • Inform the facilities manager immediately of new building maintenance issues.
  • Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
  • Return all items used during your shift to the proper place, clean and organize all work and storage areas.
  • Meet with manager upon arrival to discuss shift set-up and check out with manager before leaving to ensure duties are completed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
