Requirements

  • High School diploma, required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable leadership role, preferably in senior living or healthcare, required
  • Valid Pennsylvania Personal Care Home Administrator (PCHA) certification with Assisted Living Residence (ALR) Administrator module, required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid state-issued driver’s license
  • Strong organizational, decision‑making, conflict management, and problem‑solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with a resident‑centered approach
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn and use accounting, payroll, and community management software
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, professionalism, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality resident services
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

  • Support the Executive Director in daily community operations to maintain a welcoming, safe, and resident‑centered environment aligned with the Community’s mission and values.
  • Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team to ensure high levels of resident satisfaction through proactive communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Provide oversight and hands‑on support for business office functions, including financial management, billing, payroll support, records management, and administrative operations.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and ongoing development of staff while fostering teamwork, accountability, and positive morale.
  • Ensure compliance with all state licensing requirements, regulatory standards, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Monitor occupancy, staffing levels, resident services, and operational performance to support community goals and financial targets.
  • Participate in marketing and census‑building efforts, including tours, leasing activities, contracts, deposits, and system updates.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with residents, families, staff, vendors, consultants, and community partners.
  • Oversee documentation, reporting, confidentiality, and record retention for residents and employees.
  • Provide leadership coverage, respond to concerns or emergencies as needed, and perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
