About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting successful operations in The Social House, Catering Events, Coffee venue service, and all Community engagement events. The Assistant Executive Chef works closely with the Executive Chef to ensure quality products are served and guest expectations are fulfilled. This role is responsible for assisting with ordering all goods and services necessary to the operation, assisting with inventory control and product rotation, maintaining all equipment and physical assets, production and execution of food and beverage, and ensuring all health code standards are upheld and followed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Three years of related work experience; OR Associate’s Degree and Two years of related work experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree and One year of related work experience; OR Master’s Degree and No work experience required
  • Related experience
  • Experience with menu planning and implementation
  • Experience with event management
  • Experience with supervision of line/prep cooks, or similar work
  • TAM (Techniques of Alcohol Management) or equivalent certification or licensure
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent certification or licensure
  • Frequent in-state travel
  • Variable work schedule
