About The Position

Join the Faculty Center team at BYU and help create meaningful experiences that support faculty development across campus. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, people-oriented, and excited about event coordination and campus engagement.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in customer service, event coordination, logistics, or related work
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

• Event planning experience
• Familiarity with BYU campus operations and policies
• Experience with databases, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Forms
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant university experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event logistics including venue reservations, AV setup, catering, room layouts, and presenter support
• Create event materials such as programs, invitations, seating charts, and handouts
• Assist with seminar and workshop preparation, including assembling binders and event packets
• Communicate with attendees and presenters to ensure a seamless event experience
• Input and update event information in the Faculty Center database
• Assist with surveys, event feedback collection, and expense tracking
• Support inventory management and purchasing processes as needed
• Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service to faculty, administrators, and campus partners
• Collaborate with departments including Scheduling, Catering, AV Services, Custodial, and Conference Services
• Help oversee student event staff and delegate tasks during events
