The Assistant Engineer I/II will support higher level engineers in the delivery of capital projects in the unit, such as the Rinconada Water Treatment Plant Reliability Improvement Project Phase 3-6. Under direct supervision, the Assistant Engineer I/II will perform a variety of civil engineering duties to execute and manage Valley Water treatment plants and other capital projects. This position requires the application of sound engineering judgement, knowledge of civil engineering principles, and effective coordination and communication with internal departments, contractors, consultants, and external agencies.
