Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in West Virginia, or the ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity immediately upon hire.
  • Four or more years of progressive civil engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.
  • Valid authorization to work in the United States. Please note: This position is not eligible for employment sponsorship, including H-1B, TN, or other employment-based visas.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from concept through construction while designing infrastructure that serves communities throughout the region.
  • Design water distribution systems, sanitary sewer systems, pump stations, and water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
  • Lead municipal infrastructure, utility, and site development projects.
  • Prepare grading plans, stormwater management designs, and hydraulic and hydrologic analyses.
  • Develop engineering reports, specifications, technical proposals, and construction cost estimates.
  • Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, including the WVDEP.
  • Mentor Engineers-in-Training (EITs) and design technicians while supporting project quality and successful delivery.
