About The Position
Alcoa's aluminum smelter in Baie-Comeau is looking for dynamic individuals to support the growth of its production activities. As an operator assistant, you will contribute to the daily activities of the Production sector. Depending on the needs, you will work alone or in a team to support field activities and ensure the smooth running of operations. This is a physically demanding job. You must be comfortable working in conditions of intense heat, cold, noise, and dust.
Requirements
- High school diploma (DES) or equivalent, or vocational studies diploma (DEP)
- Good physical endurance and interest in field work
- Team spirit and positive attitude
- Reliability, rigor, and sense of responsibility
- Respect for health and safety standards
