Requirements

Basic computer knowledge.
Weigh a minimum of 600 samples per 12-hour shift.
Prepare and present information in an orderly and instructive manner.
Excellent communication in French (written and verbal).
Quality-oriented individual.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work in a diverse environment.
Ability to meet very short deadlines.
Safety conscious.
Highly motivated, autonomous, and capable of working in a team.

Nice To Haves

English communication would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Work in the weighing room for Gold and base metal analysis.
Use correct methods according to established orders and methods, while ensuring the quality of analyses.
Perform the sponge method.
Weigh bullion.
Weigh pyro-analysis samples.
Weigh Leco samples.
Weigh liquids on-site.
Organize samples in the warehouse.
Maintain order in the digestion room and weighing room.
Follow the published standard operating procedure (SOP) for the weighing room training method.
Calibrate and mix digestion test flasks.
Measure specific gravity.
Search for sample boxes (for weighing).
Remove boxes for storage after analysis.
Perform routine instrument maintenance as needed.
Cleaning.
Correct application of products and methods.
Be familiar with all safety rules for the laboratory and sample preparation.
Perform other tasks assigned by the director, assistant director, or supervisors.
