This is a full-time attorney position responsible for enforcing and collecting child and spousal support orders issued in Douglas County domestic cases. Duties include reviewing and modifying child support orders, meeting with pro se litigants or retained counsel regarding child support or spousal support related issues, preparing discovery requests, pleadings, child support worksheets, and preparing cases for and attending a weekly trial docket. The attorney must maintain a working relationship with paralegals and court staff and be able to calmly work with diverse members of the public in routine and difficult situations.
