About The Position

Stonegrove Academy is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director to help manage multiple classrooms and support the success of the site. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of licensing requirements and a commitment to empowering team members and developing meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. The Assistant Director leads teachers in classroom management, assists the Director with recruitment, enrollment, regulatory compliance, and facility and supply management, and steps in to lead a classroom when needed to maintain staffing ratios.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Help manage multiple classrooms.
• Lead teachers in classroom management.
• Assist the Director with recruitment and enrollment.
• Help maintain compliance with applicable regulatory agencies.
• Assist with facility management and ordering supplies.
• Lead a classroom when needed to maintain staffing ratios.
• Empower team members and develop meaningful relationships with children, families, and team members.
