About The Position

At Green Leaves Early Learning, we are seeking a natural-born leader to support and guide a dedicated team of educators in a Centre Leadership role. We place our teams and children at the heart of everything we do, guided by our Green Leaves Commitments towards Team, Child Safety, Learning Environments, Family Connections, Centre Presentation and Performance. As the Assistant Director, you will be key to building a positive, warm, fun, and welcoming culture where our Green Leaves Commitments are embedded across all practices. You will support the Centre Director in day-to-day operations, guide the team in developing and delivering high-quality programs, and actively mentor and develop the team in line with best practice.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience with QikKids and StoryPark (or similar equivalent platforms)
  • An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or higher
  • A current SA Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Current SA Child Protection Training (or willing to obtain)
  • Current HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willing to obtain)
  • National Child Safety Training (or willing to obtain)
  • National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months (or willing to obtain)
  • Proda ID and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Must be available to work rotating shifts that may start as early as 6:30 am and finish as late as 6:30 pm, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
