About The Position

The Assistant Director, 2nd Shift, Environmental Services (EVS) assists the Director with oversight of facility operational needs. The position serves as a liaison between Crothall and the client, providing the highest possible level of service. This individual oversees staffing, work procedures, facility inspections, staff communication, and major project scheduling in accordance with facility standards and needs.

Requirements

• A four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong work ethic, drive, and initiative focused on quality and customer service.
• Ability to use a participative approach to managing staff.
• Ability to function appropriately under stress, organize and prioritize tasks, and develop budgets with a complete understanding of facility needs and requirements.
• Strong stress management, administrative, organizational, and follow-through skills with associates and clients.

Nice To Haves

• At least three years of additional relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and review standards and work procedures for staff in accordance with facility policies and practices.
• Plan work schedules, hours, work areas, and job duties to ensure adequate staffing.
• Interview, select, hire, and evaluate personnel, and recommend termination in accordance with facility standards.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and evaluations and recommend action items.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate with other departments to coordinate activities.
• Schedule major project work and ensure adequate staff and supplies are available.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
