Assistant Director - Preschool
About The Position
The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the school alongside the School Director, supporting Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The role also assists in promoting children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth. The Assistant Director helps ensure the school meets company and state licensing standards; fosters an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents; promotes the company’s positive image; recruits, selects, and retains quality staff; and helps achieve company profitability.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have at least 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
- Must meet state requirements for education and the center/school requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
