Requirements
- Minimum of four years' experience in personnel supervision and evaluation, program development and evaluation, and fiscal management, along with four years of progressively responsible and applicable management and/or supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience to provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
- Demonstrated experience working with high school aged students
- Aptitude in management, supervision, strategic planning, project management and program implementation
- Ability to adapt to change in the work environment, effectively handle multiple tasks and competing demands
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written form
- Ability to design and implement formative and summative evaluation strategies
- Demonstrate high level of proficiency with computer applications including Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Excel spreadsheets and MS Word).
- This position requires the successful completion of a live scan fingerprinting for Sonoma State University, including a live scan fingerprinting at the assigned school site location and TB test.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred, as is possession of a valid California Teaching or Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential.
- Experience working with TRiO Upward Bound or Talent Search programs and familiarity with federal compliance standards are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Google Suite, Aeries, student information system and PeopleSoft preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
