Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Assistant Director, Science Learning Center in Boca Raton, FL. The Assistant Director in the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) oversees all academic support and daily operations based in the Science Learning Center (SLC). Reporting to the Executive Director, Academic Support and Student Success, the Assistant Director primarily focuses on recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising a large team of undergraduate and graduate students who support students enrolled in difficult science courses. Responsible for guiding center strategy, interdepartmental collaborations, and faculty relationship management. Ensures a high level of collaboration with colleagues overseeing other academic support areas in the CTL. Provides experience in educational assessment, higher education leadership, and learning center management.
