The Assistant Retail Director will oversee sales and operations for dealerships in a Regional market, ensuring healthy function while honoring DriveTime’s culture and adhering to core values. This role involves developing and inspiring dealership teams to work together and advance business goals. The Assistant Director, Retail Sales translates company strategies into actionable divisional plans, works cross-divisionally to drive execution of strategies, initiatives, and projects, and identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to promote a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork. They support the implementation of company programs, procedures, methods, and practices, challenge and inspire employees to achieve business results, and ensure adherence to legal and operational compliance requirements. The role also oversees training and development of employees, provides coaching and leadership, establishes and maintains visibility, monitors operational statistics and KPIs, and manages regional store teams. Additionally, the Assistant Director is responsible for attracting, recruiting, training, and developing diverse talent, and aligning with other Regional Directors to ensure consistency in quality and best practices for the customer and employee experience.
