About The Position

American Career College is seeking an Assistant Director, Registrar Operations to join their team. This role involves assisting the Director of Registrar Operations with policy and regulatory requirements, assessing compliance and regulatory risk, and working with campuses to resolve registrar issues such as tracking or obtaining data, attendance and grade discrepancies. The goal is to ensure accurate student records and transcripts. Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of experience as a registrar in higher education or in a college Records office involving student records, registration, admissions, attendance, grades and record keeping.
  • Knowledge of secondary and postsecondary educational programs.
  • Knowledge of accreditation, state, federal and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental compliance and other regulatory standards.
  • Associates degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Director of Registrar Operations, with policy and regulatory requirements to assess compliance and regulatory risk.
  • Working with the campuses on resolving various registrar issues and concerns such as difficulty in tracking or obtaining data.
  • Identifying and reviewing attendance and grade discrepancies.
  • Working with campus registrars and campus leadership to resolve the issue to ensure accurate student records and transcripts.
