The Assistant Director of Reentry & Diversion Services provides leadership and direct programmatic oversight for assessment, treatment, service linkage, housing support, and mentorship services for individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders (SUD) and behavioral health challenges. This role addresses the social determinants of health (SDOH) through trauma-informed, data-driven practices that support diversion, reduce recidivism, and enhance community safety. Working closely with internal staff and community-based partners, the Assistant Director ensures clients receive appropriate behavioral health referrals, coordinated case management, and individualized service plans that promote long-term stability. This salaried leader will implement the elements of a Prop 47 pre-plea diversion program and MediCal services.
