About The Position

We are hiring an Assistant Director for our preschool who is ready for the next step in their child care career and will inspire children to become lifelong learners. The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Director in a licensed child care facility.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Must have the Georgia 40 hour course completed.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in ECE or related field is preferred.

• Ensure the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
• Foster an educational, caring, safe environment for the children and parents.
• Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day.

• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.
