Assistant Director - Preschool
About The Position
We are hiring an Assistant Director for our preschool who will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of the school with the School Director. The Assistant Director will assist in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director will ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards, foster an educational, caring, and safe environment, spark imagination, build self-esteem, help children discover new things, promote the positive image of the company, and play a major role in making the company a provider of choice. The Assistant Director will also recruit, select, and retain quality staff and help achieve profitability for the company.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have at least 2 years of assistant director experience in a licensed child care facility.
- Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
- Must have the North Carolina director credential level 1, 2, or 3.
Nice To Haves
- Associates Degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
