Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of organic social media strategy, platform dynamics, content planning, audience engagement practices, and reputational considerations across enterprise social channels.
  • Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to align social direction to business priorities, brand positioning, and broader discovery objectives.
  • Strong communication and editorial judgment, including the ability to shape channel voice, ensure message consistency, and guide high-visibility social content decisions.
  • Ability to interpret social performance, engagement trends, and competitive activity and convert findings into actionable recommendations and optimization plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead work through others, provide coaching and quality oversight, and establish clear standards for execution and accountability.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with brand, communications, paid media, analytics, experimentation, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance strategic direction, governance, and day-to-day decision making in a fast-moving, publicly visible environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise organic social strategy across assigned platforms and portfolios, establishing channel priorities, engagement objectives, content direction, and optimization focus aligned to business goals and brand standards.
  • Direct campaign planning and social content strategy in partnership with internal stakeholders, ensuring initiatives are coordinated, audience-informed, and aligned to enterprise marketing priorities.
  • Oversee social listening standards, community management expectations, and escalation protocols, providing guidance on risk-sensitive situations and ensuring timely, appropriate response practices.
  • Partner with Paid Media, Communications, Digital Experimentation, and Analytics to align messaging, testing priorities, performance evaluation, and executive visibility strategies while maintaining clear ownership for organic social strategy.
  • Lead and develop specialist-level organic social resources by setting priorities, reviewing work, coaching team members, and translating performance and competitive insights into actions that improve engagement and business impact.
