Quinnipiac University invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Student Accessibility to join a collaborative and student-centered team committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible, and supportive learning environment for all students. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with disabilities and advancing equitable access across the University community. The Assistant Director plays a key role in overseeing the administration and coordination of accessibility services for undergraduate and graduate students on Quinnipiac University’s Mount Carmel Campus. Working closely with students, faculty, staff, and campus partners, the Assistant Director ensures that students disclosing disabilities receive appropriate academic, programmatic, and physical access accommodations in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and ADA Amendments Act (ADAAA). In addition to supporting students directly, the Assistant Director serves as an important campus resource by educating, training, and guiding University departments and programs in understanding disability access, inclusion, rights, and institutional responsibilities. The position also contributes to the continued enhancement of accessibility services through data collection, operational coordination, and the supervision of Accessibility Coordinator staff.
