We are currently seeking an Assistant Director to Serve as a positive role model for residents to observe and learn socially effective values, attitudes and behaviors. Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the resident transitional living plan. Will be responsible for direct supervision of up to eight child-placing staff (Program supervisors/Life Skills Coaches).

Requirements

  • The Assistant Director (Child-placing Supervisor) shall have a doctorate or master's degree in social work from a college or university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education plus three years of experience in providing casework services to children and families
  • OR A doctorate or master's degree in a human services related field with at least four years of experience in providing casework services to children and families in a child-placing agency
  • OR a Baccalaureate degree in any field plus five years of experience in providing case management services to children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Program Director in the execution of the program.
  • Working closely with Program Director to set program budgets and work within the same.
  • Be responsible for direct supervision of child-placing staff (Program supervisors/Life Skills Coaches), but may not supervise more than eight child-placing staff members.
  • Be responsible for the direct supervision of at least two site locations.
  • Coordinates and facilitates pre-placement interviews and site visits.
  • Works closely with Executive Director to develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures, in order to ensure quality of care and compliance with the standards for interdepartmental regulation of Child-Placing Agencies.
