The Assistant Director of Student Access and Support will be responsible for assisting in all work related to student enrollment transitions involving Expulsions, disciplinary conferences, students exiting alternative schools upon the completion of expulsion terms, and the reentry of adjudicated youth. This position will also assist in coordinating the day to day operations of the Student Hearing Office and is expected to review disciplinary action requests for compliance and conduct Disciplinary Conferences; be responsible for advising families, schools, and advocacy partners on any transition involving disciplinary action through the Student Hearing Office and governing policies; be expected to assist in the drafting of centralized district wide discipline policies in collaboration with school leaders, charter partners, and advocacy stakeholders; and carryout data analyses and create presentations on the disciplinary and other student- support related data originating from the attendance and behavioral health work carried out by team members.
