About The Position

Provides leadership over security training systems, employee development, regulatory compliance, certification tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure a highly trained, safety-focused, and compliant security team.

Requirements

Associate degree in criminal justice, education, business, or related field preferred.
Minimum five years experience in security, compliance, training, or related leadership role.
Experience developing training curriculum and compliance systems.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Valid Driver’s License and current Nevada required insurance.
Strong facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
Ability to build systems, calendars, and compliance processes.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, and security best practices.
Excellent written communication and reporting ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive training program for all security personnel.
Coordinate onboarding training for new hires and annual refresher training for existing staff.
Ensure all certifications including CPR/AED and role-specific credentials remain current.
Maintain complete training records and ensure documentation is submitted to Human Resources files.
Track expirations, recurring requirements, and upcoming compliance deadlines.
Conduct policy, procedure, and documentation audits to ensure compliance.
Support OSHA, safety, and agency regulatory training requirements.
Analyze incidents, performance trends, and deficiencies to create corrective retraining plans.
Develop leadership training for supervisors and high-potential staff.
Ensure consistent instruction in customer service, de-escalation, professionalism, and mission standards.
Recommend new training methods, systems, and development strategies.
Create succession planning and internal promotion readiness programs.
Prepare compliance dashboards and training status reports for leadership.
Coordinate external instructors, vendors, and certifications as needed.
Protect confidential information, company property, and electronic data.
Other related duties as directed.
