About The Position

The ART Hotel, Denver is seeking a Hotel Assistant Director of Sales. Find us in the arts district, with the State Capitol and a half-dozen museums within 10 minutes' walk. We bring Denver's spirit indoors with curated artwork throughout the hotel, and mountain and city views at every turn. See downtown from a new vantage at our rooftop bar and restaurant. Memorable event space includes a dedicated team and on-site catering. Working as the Assistant Director of Sales at The ART Hotel offers a dynamic leadership role within a premier hospitality venue. In this position, you will be responsible for implementing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to maximize hotel profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. This involves securing new business accounts, maintaining existing relationships, supervising the sales team, and executing tactical plans to outshine competition in the Denver market.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Exceptional ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve the hotel's revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for business growth.
  • Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing, occupancy rates, and revenue streams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and travel agents to drive business.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring the team meets or exceeds revenue objectives.
  • Work with the events team to secure and manage group bookings, conferences, and special events.
  • Develop and oversee promotional campaigns, advertising, and marketing initiatives to attract guests.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to hotel management.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the hotel’s services and build brand awareness.
  • Work closely with other hotel departments, such as operations and front desk, to ensure a seamless guest experience and maximize revenue opportunities.
