This individual has a general knowledge of all things related to people + culture and looks for ways to assist team members and applicants, all while ensuring that experience is the Makeready way; always valuing people over process. This individual will have a broad knowledge of people and culture (HR) functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & development, team member relations, payroll, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Prior Assistant Director of Sr. Manager experience is required
  • An approachable, personable, and friendly personality
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • A sense of discretion as this role handles sensitive team member information

Responsibilities

  • Handle team member relations, counseling, and exit interviews
  • Investigate team member relations issues and counsel leaders on team member issues
  • Assist leaders in the recruitment effort for all exempt and non-exempt team members
  • Participate in safety meetings to ensure the program meets every necessary component
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits law and regulations
